Regarding the "10+2" rule for the United States (Import Security Filing/ISF)

Import Security Filing (ISF) is mandatory under the security rules of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Failure to comply or incomplete applications may result in actions such as a hold on loading, refusal of discharge, seizure of cargo, and the imposition of fines ($5,000 per violation). Filing ISF is the importer's responsibility.

Required 10+2 information

1)    Seller name and address
2)    Buyer name and address
3)    Importer of record number/FTZ applicant identification number
4)    Consignee number
5)    Manufacturer/Supplier name and address
6)    Ship to party name and address
7)    Country of origin of the goods
8)    Commodity harmonized tariff schedule of the United States (HTSUS) number/6 digits

** The above 4 items must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to shipment, but corrections are allowed up to 24 hours prior to arrival in the United States.

9)    Container stuffing location
10)    Consolidator name and address

** Submit the above two items as soon as possible, no later than 24 hours prior to arrival in the U.S. will be required.

If Transcontainer send AMS Data, it will be our HBL#.

North America

Other than this, the following two items of "+2" are obliged to be submitted by the shipping company that actually undertakes the transportation.

11)    Vessel stow plan
12)    Container Status Message

Submission deadline for "+2"

11) must be submitted within 48 hours after leaving the final port of call (loading side) for the United States, and 12) must be submitted within 24 hours after the relevant information has been incorporated into the carrier's tracking system.
